There was a lotta talk that Japanese devs had lost their touch and blah blah can't keep up with the times. Bitches just couldn't understand the games.

Look at everybody hopping on that Nier dick now. That game is 90% the same lol. Yeah it's prettier and they tweaked the combat, but it still plays a lot like the first. You're also still doing the same goofy sidequests.

PS FF13 is better looking than a lot of PS4 games

Yeah thats why game journos loved DmC Devil may Cry featuring Donte cuz it was made by western devs and they love the idea of western devs taking control of Japanese ips.

I mean, I did like DmC outside of the horrific writing and characters. The gameplay and visual design are both pretty nice. But yeah, youre right too.

I actually liked DmC once I got over my hatred for Dante's redesign. I thought that Dante and Vergil being half angel, half demon was an interesting spin on the original lore. I don't remember much else about the story though, so that says a lot about how memorable it wasn't lol.
