I was in the shower, leaned back to wash my hair, and something popped and now my neck is in extreme pain any time I move it

I managed to get to my bed to lay down but it still hurts and any movement is impossible

Same thing happened to me. Few days after the pain went the my neck keeps cracking at the back when i move it a certain way. Went to the doctor and he was like "meh just a neckache/you're getting older" or some shit. Was really worried about it but this was around 2 years ago now.

Edit: Thats not to say your one might not be worse. You should get it looked at asap just in case. Not sure if you'll have to pay for it though since you're in America?
