What are people seeing that I'm not seeing? She is not the next George Floyd. Video footage clearly shows her almost stabbing people to death before she was herself shot. Why do people need to be like "say her name" and hold protests when the officer seemed like he was doing the right thing?

There is no reason to believe that girl would be dead by being stabbed once. Especially if she was acting in self defense, MaKhia could have been arrested for assault, both of the girls could have been.

Besides, the cop was there to intervene. Shooting her dead was not the only option the cop had.

She was outside and was mid swing with a knife ignoring to put it down. I guess they should just let her stab someone to death? That fucking makes sense. These biased hacks just heard black girl shot by cops and are refusing to back down when it was so obviously justified.

Immediate response was telling her to stop and trying to break up the fight. Lethal force was the only option she was literally mid swing at close range.

I'm not seeing what other options the cop had in that moment. The whole situation is tragic. The girl called 911 for help because the other girls were bullying her. In the moment the cop showed up, she became the aggressor and was about to stab another girl.

The cop didn't really have more than a few seconds to assess the situation and chose to protect another person from being stabbed by using lethal force.

What other option did the cop have? They weren't listening to him and the girl was likely going to stab someone else.

As you can see, some of these people are so far gone it really doesn't matter what the situation is. There has to be some way the cop, the system, the country were all wrong.

We all fucking know if that girl got stabbed and died these same people would be asking why he didn't shoot the girl doing the stabbing, "they've shown they'll shoot black people without hesitation, but won't to save a black girl's life", you know that'd be the narrative.
