Perascamin 04/21/21 3:47:04 AM #1:	It's not something to feel good about. We had clear video evidence of him murdering George Floyd and it took over a year for him to answer for it. Justice system is still incredibly flawed and this verdict doesn't mean we're headed in the right direction. Any celebration over this is sad; you're essentially celebrating what the system should have been doing all along. It is legislatively possible - the threat of it got the LAPD to reform in the early 2000s (still suck though but better than some other places). It will probably never happen. The system was not doing what it should have been, so people started protesting (and rioting). Most expected he would not be found guilty of 2nd degree murder, he was found guilty of all charges. It doesn't mean that everything is fine but it showed there's a floor, as low as it may be.
