And had a 10 minute conversation on how to suck a dude's blood as a vampire in the least gay way possible

Happy 4/20 y'all!

Starting with Murder House? I always thought Coven and Freak Show were the best seasons.

We're already past those. We're on Hotel now. I think Coven was mt girlfriend's favorite and mine up until now is Asylum.

Honestly I don't really like horror unless it leans more on the campy side than the horror side and AHS is fine for me since it's basically that ESPECIALLY in later seasons.

Oh nice. Asylum was good but sometimes it just got too...idk dark/tense without much relief. Even the ending was pretty bleak

Yeah Asylum is definitely the bleakest one so far...I think 1984 might be one of my all-time favorites

My opinion of the seasons so far (spoiler free)...

Murder House: Pretty good. Had some nice twists. Went on a few tangents. Overall, good season.
Asylum: Great theme, but tried to do too much and kinda tripped over its own gimmicks. Could have been better than Murder House if not for various clusterfucks
Coven: Had some good plot points and good characters, but suffered A LOT from horrible writing and cringey campy cliche dialog, not to mention one terrible overarching plot point which I won't describe as I'm spoiler-freeing. Overall, a mess that worked occasionally but flopped most of the time imo.
Freak Show: One of the best imo. I loved the theme. I enjoyed the acting. My only complaint was out-of-period scenes. It makes no sense for characters set in the 50s to perform musical numbers with songs from the 90s >_>. If not for that, it could potentially be the best season.
Hotel: Lady Gaga was amazing in her role. I was very impressed. Never was a fan of hers until then but she really fucking impressed me. Overall story was average.
Roanoke: Interesting tone and good halfway-point shift but really it wasn't anything special. Felt gimmicky.
Cult: I loved the social/political commentary of the time. Lots of twists. Most were below average to above average in potency. I liked it more than most people did probably.
Apocalypse: I sort of liked the ties to other seasons but I sort of didn't. The throwbacks to Coven... well... I didn't like Coven. The scenery was good. The powerful new characters made the throwbacks tolerable. I was kinda rooting for the villain in the end.
1984: Started off really good but then fell into a kind of generic plot for the series even if "new" in concept. Gave me high expectations but then floundered a bit, but at least average overall.

I loved Cult actually. It felt a lot more focused than other seasons and I liked the political satire.

Coven was really cringe-y, but that's almost part of its charm I guess

I've only seen 1984, but I enjoyed it.

The first half of the season was like a 9/10. The second half was maybe a 6-7/10. It was a fun ride overall.

My issue is more that the plotline is bad. Like even years later I remember one blatant plot hole. Madison has a heart murmur and it's taken as proof that she can't be the Supreme. But when Cordelia becomes the Supreme, all of her medical issues are healed.
