Because Paradise by the Dashboard Lights is lit as fuck. Another good Steinman song - with multiple versions to choose from - is It's All Coming Back To Me Now. My favourite quote about him is from a review I read for Bat Out Of Hell 3 when it launched, stating that the album was "overblown, melodramatic and frequently ridiculous - but not without its downsides too." The Bat trilogy is great, along with one of my alltime favoritte 80s tunes, Total Eclipse of The Heart. The dude knew how to put together a loud, bombastic, over the top rock song, and music doesn't get much better than that. Steinman didnt pen Bat out of Hell III He didn't have a direct hand in it, or write material specifically for the album, but half the tracks on the album were written by him - either initially for other acts (like It's All Coming Back To Me Now) or unreleased songs written for other projects like the Batman musical (In The Land Of The Pig The Butcher Is King). It's still a Steinman-flavoured album, even if he didn't directly make it: I believe this even lead to one of his many legal disputes with Meat Loaf.
