it it was mean to bring attention to yet another tragic situation that had occurred seemingly moments after the Chauvin verdict, indicating how out of control things are.

The truth is that a 15 year old is dead. You know how CE loves those hot teens. This child never had a chance to lose 20 pounds and gain a sense of fashion. In 3 more years she could have been a bikini model. In 3 more years she could run for Congress.

Does anyone know whether a white person who lives in a predominantly non white neighborhood is more likely to be shot than a white person living in a predominantly white area?

But you have to agree that when the cop arrived the "innocent" girl was the one swinging the knife at the girl in the pink--how do you think that looks to someone just arriving to the scene? Is that "innocent" girl still "innocent"?

Just call it a tragic accident. If you don't like the terminology of "hero," that's fine, but "mistake" acts like the cop had any ability to do anything other than prevent an unnecessary stabbing happening at that very moment.

I hate to say the cop is a full hero, but he basically saved her life... literally. it's like many of you actually want the girl in the pink to get stabbed especially with dumb comments like "ohhh it's ok.. she could survive a stab attack". How would you know? experience?

It's like the piggy haters are just trying to find a way to hate on this cop. Shit happens and it's unfortunate that cop came in at the worst time. It's sad.. but nothing else could be done.

It's also crazy that no one is talking about the victim's father who's literally kicking the other teen in the head too.... just so much shit going on in a second it's insane.

I haven't seen any source that confirms that the girl who was shot was being bullied or that she was even the one who called the police. All of that seemed to come from the girl's family when it happened, but if we go by their version of events then she was shot just because a knife was near her.

You did see how little time he had, right? He told her to get down four times. She ignored him and was literally mid-swing; you cant talk at that point. I mean, I guess you can, but then you just let a girl get stabbed.

Yeah she was pretty clearly the aggressor there.

And it looked to me like the officer attempted to physically intervene before she ran at the other girl and he shot her. I couldn't tell if he got a chance to ask her age or if she was the one who called the police though

She lived with her foster mother. Her foster mother had actually been abusing her and called people over to jump her

She was a child who needed help from the system and the system failed her

This is why Black people need to police their own because unfortunately these officers in this country have no compassion and will shoot to kill whenever they have the smallest excuse to do so.

I don't think she should have tried to stab the other girl. But its clear she was dealing with a lot of anger. The situation could have been handled way better by someone with compassion.

I can't even imagine the pain they're going through, that sucks but your facts are family accounts of what happened? Same family that claimed that the police shot her without warning, without reason? And claimed that the police will lie about the whole thing? Their family member just died, so I completely understand if they have some bias. Ever been involved in a car accident that wasn't your fault? Other party will claim it was your fault and even sue your ass. It's like that here, but magnified 10 fold.

I also see an interview of the step mom saying it was all over a messy house.

I don't know who is telling the truth and neither do you.

All I know for a fact and see is Bryant screaming "I'm gonna stab the fuck outta you", attempting it, and getting put down. In front of the police, with many warnings.
