I use to hate it, but I watched it with my roommate just now and you know what? It's all right. It's a pretty dumb fun action flick, especially when you're watching it with friends.

I'll be sure never to watch those sequels though.

I was into those when I was a teenager, they were the coolest shit. Haven't seen them since. Got the urge to rewatch them a few years ago but didn't follow through.

For years I actually thought Path of Neo was a great game. The one time I revisited it for a bit, it was fucking awful. But then again I was playing the PC version which was apparently pretty fucked to begin with.

My friend had a game called Enter the Matrix on GameCube. While I didn't care for the Matrix, that game was actually kind of fun.

Enter the matrix game was fun in the first half.

It's basically a series of lobby shootouts from the first matrix movie, and it's badass to slow down time.

It was like a better DMC2

Once the agents start coming it's meh, and that final level is awful

That one was on PS2 too. My memory of it is that it was fucking awful and nowhere near as interesting as PoN. But I also only got to try it out after a lot of attempts trying to salvage a really scratched CD so the disappointment was probably heightened.

Wouldn't you have been a kid when the first Matrix came out? You didn't like it even then?

I was, like, 4 or 5 when the first Matrix came out. I actually sat down and tried to watch it for the first time when I was about 8 or 9, and yeah -- didn't like it at the time.

The action scenes in Reloaded were top notch for the time. The third movie was just... not good.

Yeah I think most people think Reloaded was pretty good even if they think the first one is better. The 3rd movie was pretty boring and drawn out, it was a repetitive snooze fest until the last 15 minutes or so of the movie.

I think it's pretty cool. I think some of the acting is bad but the premise and fight scenes are pretty cool.

If it's any consolation, I LOVE Fight Club -- a movie that came out the same year and, like the Matrix, also have a reputation of being "Baby's First Deep Movie" on the internet.
