Of course, I told him that this is a memecoin to many, and that a large drop-off can happen, and that he'll need to hold while it goes through many periods of volatility.
I told him that the coin doesn't have infinite potential in terms of growth of price (or at least, it's highly unlikely due to the nature of the coin), and that everyone has it in their head that $1 is the moon, so if it starts getting closer to $1, I expect that's when the bubble pops as everyone abandons dogecoin.
