I'm a Bernie bro who voted Hillary and Biden in both general elections so gun control isn't an issue that's going to swing my vote on its own. That being said I support gun ownership but I think we need way more strict background checks. One of the most frustrating things I'm seeing from the democrat party (which I vote for) is their proposed gun control measures (assault weapon bans) which would seem to do absolutely nothing about gun violence and in return we ostracize voters.
