Did it with Leon on Standard then in the sewer had to switch to Assist mode cause I ran very low on ammo and put myself in an annoying position. It's the part you're in water and there's about 3 of those water things in that small area.

Also I messed up and went down without going back to the police station. I had like 3 small things left to do.

Now playing as Clare. Is it worth doing the 2nd runs for new storylines?

Probably will start 4 something next month then play 7.

Really enjoyed this game. Though I did look up online the lock combos. What can I say!!! I didn't feel like solving that minor stuff.

Yes. The 2nd part is a lot harder tho. Especially when you go to the boss without realizing you were suppose to get her other guns first. I have a video I saved to Youtube. Where I'm fighting the boss and literally my very last item that can do damage delivers the final blow. It was pretty amazing that I made it out that fuck up

The last boss I had only 2 ammo with that powerful handgun. Over 60 pistol ammo which was useless. 300 flamethrower. And 7 shotgun cells. I lost track of how many tries it took. I figured out I had a save point a few more mins back which gave me 2 healths cause I only had 1. And I finally beat the fucker.

Definitely play that 2nd run. It's a completely different part of the story and the enemies are set up different.

I got RE3 after coming off the high of RE2, but I never got into it. I think all the little things they setback bugged me more than Id consciously think.

My expectations for 4 and 7 won't be like this game. If I do the 2nd runs then I won't start 4 till probably June which is fine. I got my money's worth with these games.

That's the problem with buying game's in bulk. You end up thinking about thenext game before even finishing the 1st. I learned my lesson with buying a whole series before I finish the 1st

I killed 1 of the G baby then barely had ammo. Literally ran away from 3. Technically 5 cause after that door you encounter them if they aren't dead.

At least now with Clare I know what not to do before certain enemies.

I onlykilled one the sewer things. They're not worth the ammo asfar as concerned. Ill just take the hits if I have to. Which, the old school games always felt like those were the options you were picking between. I'm sure if I get down dodging in 3, Ill like it more and find a flow.

Those G adults in the sewer are the worst enemy in the game. They eat speedruns alive.

A lot of remembering maps and stuff. I had to at times figure out how to get back to certain areas. Once I get to the sewer with Clare I have to look into getting back to the station cause I didn't figure that out with Leon.

And the drug lab liquid thing was frustrating. I had to look up how to do that. Which took me a while to do >_>

You don't even know me bro or the situation I was in. You'd give in and do Assist too. I almost had to start from the beginning cause of the mess up with the final boss even on Assist mode. I think it takes over 25 regular ammo to get the cutscene for the launcher. I was very close to that.

Situations I put myself in due to gaming is why I almost need professional help. I'm sure a therapist would find my very first ru with RE2 and my feelings appealing. Probably write a book about me.

Theres a display case at the bottom of a stairwell (the one you took before fighting Birkin for the first time). You can access it again from sewers by moving a shelf. You have to re-examine the badge to put the USB back in first.

at least Claire gets the spark shot, which makes very shot wok of the G's in the sewer. Just shoot and hold down the fire button until they pop.

With Leon, the shotgun is your best bet if you cant avoid them. I just try to duck as many as i can.

Youre meant to use it in the garage. You press the trunk button and one of the trunks will pop open. Leon gets a stock for his pistol which also gives it burst capability. Sounds good in theory but in practice you just waste a lot of ammo using it and it makes your pistol take up an extra inventory slot. It can be decent against bosses though.

Claire should absolutely not miss the trunk item in her game though.

The Browning Hi-Power pistol, cant remember what the game calls it, JMB or something. Its the best 9mm pistol IMO.
