I'd like HBO to adapt The Count of Monte Cristo into a series.

it's one of the best books ever, IMO, but idk if any adaptation has come close to doing it justice.

and when I say adaptation, I mean movie, TV series, video game, etc. that's adapted from a work from a different medium.

so you could say you wanted a book adaptation of Red Dead Redemption, for example.

I'd absolutely adore a Mass Effect live action series. 22-25 episode seasons, 45-60 minutes each.

Maybe treat the initial hunt for Saren as an ongoing background plot at first as it follows the specter adventures of Shepherd's crew. You could have Season 1 be mostly episodic and focus on character development, and deal with Liara's rescue and the events on Faros, with the Thorian's revelation capping off the season. Season 2 can pivot to being more plot heavy and cover Noveria and Virmire. Ilos and the final attack on the Citadel can probably be squeezed into a trilogy of episodes to finish that off.

Its gonna be a cable one for sure.
