It has been decided by UEFA that there must be fans at each game, and it seems like the minimum they allow is 25% capacity. Previously selected host cities can decide on a capacity, and all cities except for Munich, Dublin, and Bilbao have confirmed to admit at least 25%. St. Petersburg and Baku have confirmed 50% capacity, while Budapest is going all in with 100%!

The decision deadline is in just 4 days on Monday, April 19, but it is unclear what will happen if cities decide they won't allow up to 25% of stadium capacity. Will the games move to another city? Germany is in Hungary's group, so maybe their games will move to Budapest? This would require rescheduling matches though because games in the same groups happen on the same day. Or will teams forfeit the tournament if they refuse to meet this criterion?

How many fans do you think should be in the Allianz Arena for group stage games on June 15, 19, and 23? I still have tickets that I won in the original lottery in 2019, but if capacity isn't high enough they will need to randomly eliminate some fans who already have tickets, which would suck so bad. I really hope Germany tries to bring the tournament to life by going for at least 50% to send a signal to the other cities who lowballed at 25%, and hopefully convince them to step up their game. It would be amazing if they are delaying their answer to surprise us all and meet Hungary at 100% to create an incredible atmosphere at all Group F games! But that seems too good to be true...
