If they go back full time, will you go back? I'm sure companies have to know they have to offer a hybrid and flexible WFH schedule if they want to keep people. I can see companies losing a bunch of employees this year and next as everything gets sorted out.

Yeah, late 2020 for me. At least one guy left and got a job he could do from home. Another seemed to retire but came back later

I've been back since mid July. Like half of the people were able to wfh for a long while but have come back recently. They got their vaccines and felt comfortable. They all kind of fell out of love with WFH too. They missed human interaction with people beyond their family.

I never got the ability to go home like the majority of my IT coworkers. I doubt some of them ever return. I even recently got a promotion and took on the role of someone who quit but was able to work from home. Still can't work from home like he could.

How are your commute times?My commute was never that bad to begin with, but was definitely empty when we started back. Seeing more school buses and general traffic now, but I forced myself into more of an early bird so not stuck in much of that anyway.
