Problems between certain factions. I also learned that when Jews left Iraq at some point, to go to Israel, the Iraqi government required them to surrender most of their wealth. You know. Like the Nazis did back in the day.

For what it's worth as far as surrendering assets when leaving the country... An American could marry someone in a different country, move there, become a citizen, and still have to keep paying taxes on their income to America for the rest of their lives.

So basically, it's definitely a fascist tactic.
