If you're traveling out from there, you're almost certainly going to travel through Meadowlands' stanky swamps, or Chemical Coast. That, and we all hate how absurdly high property values and taxes are. But, fuckin', having stayed at enough states up and down the coast, it surprises me just how much the general environment and infrastructure isn't as good anywhere else. Our highways go nearly everywhere; our diners are almost always top notch, varied, plentiful, and fairly priced; we have suburbia, city nightlife, wildlife, rural areas, beaches, everything, all closer than you'd find it anywhere else; and we have the least issues with natural disasters, both in frequency and severity.
