Yes. The guy had a girls name and always got picked on so he changed it when he was old enough. The funny thing is he was basically the leader of a bunch of violent goons and still got the business.

Why do you hate your name? Also most names can be nicknamed. Like shortened or adding Y at the end.

My name is the top 10 most common names in the world

Usually If I work at an office job, there's usually at least one or two other people with the same name as me

I also don't like the sound of my name. And for years, every time I say my name I struggle to say it, because it doesn't sound right

Also my name has no meaning to it. My mom admitted that she couldn't think of a name, so she thought of one of the last minute

Also you really look like Charlie Cox from Boardwalk Empire in side profile. I'd go with Owen as that was his character's name in that show.

I feel ya pojr. My name is John and I disliked it because of how common and plain it is. I do have a family name tho and decided a few years back that I wanted to commit to it and asked my few close friends to do so too. Never really liked the whole family calls me by one name and friends/others call me by another so if was an added benefit also

my dad

basically everyone called him by his middle name all the time and it was also the name he mostly used. But officially it wasn't his first name so there were always awkward situations when particularly official documents were involved (eg passports). A few years ago he got it changed so now he has no middle name and his old middle name is is current first name.

I guess this isn't super relevant to your question though since he never had to really decide what to change it to or anything

I mentioned many times for her to please do this.

One of my best friends dropped his first name and made his middle name his first name. First name was given to him by his biological father who walked out on them, middle name was given by his mom.

My uncle changed his name from Joseph to Paul, because he was sick of my nan calling him Joseph instead of like Joe or whatever.

A friend of mine recently changed her last name from her shitty dad's last name to her mum's last name. But while she was doing that, she also changed her middle name to Casserole.

so i learned at a hs reunion, a highly successful former classmate who i always knew by a certain name had actually decided in like elementary school that it would be his name and went only by that name throughout elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and into his professional life

i'm guessing he's legally changed it at this point

both names are a bit too common for me. my brothers name is tom too so i cant name myself that.

to be honest, rocky is my favorite name so far. but its kinda weird for a name, and i feel like it wont stick. doesnt feel like a legitimate name. but i do like it. also, people seem to like Sebastian

They tracked cellphones biannually (this was the government) and tracked his phone to a casino hundreds of hours. Shady guy.

Anyway his last name was Martin, he changed it from Martinez.

He was Mexican-American but for whatever reason didn't want people to know. He could pass for white.

But he cheated on his wife, spent most of his working hours at a nearby casino (he'd pop in a couple hours in the morning), sexually harassed his staff and stole from the lost and found.

Really shady guy. And as I posted earlier, they tracked his government issued smartphone and found out he was at a casino about 5 of the 8 hours he should be in the office and sometimes half the night.

every name i try to sound out, write down and think in my head do not sound natural. as much as i dislike dan, its the most natural name i think of. it kind of bugs me because, like i said, i would like to change my name

for an example, i was really liking the name "rocky", but its such a goofy name. imagine meeting someone thats actually named rocky! freaking goofy as hell. but i still like it.
