Used to use Autocheck but it appears to be a paid service now.
Ive found a lot of sites that give some information but not the ownership history like I used to be able to see. My mom was going through some stuff and found an old insurance card with the VIN for my first car and I wanted to see if I could find out what happened to it after my dad sold it when I was 20. what do --- "I like turtles" ... carfax will give you a free look up but its tricky to figure out.
i dont remember the steps, cuz it looks like their site is down, 1) sign up for an account 2) find something thats like my cars or track cars, etc. 3) enter vin 4) free report. just about doing anything else on the website will route you toward paying for a report so dont do that. --- JISOO JISOO ...
