I remember one time about 5 years ago, my girlfriend and I went to my aunts house for a family dinner. we parked on a hill right behind my moms car. I was driving a stick at the time. so I park behind my moms car and lift the e-brake but I didnt put the car into first as extra insurance. so the only thing I could think of that happened was when I lifted the e-brake, I also pressed in on the button that allows you to release the e-brake, so I dont think it was truly as locked into place as it should have been.

so were leaving dinner, and I see this silver car that looks just like mine sitting at the bottom of the hill. Im like oh no fucking way thats my car. hit my car alarm button and yupp, its mine. to this day I have no clue how my car didnt roll into my moms car that was parked right in front of us, and how the car magically came to rest right before it entered the intersection. from that day on I always put into first when parking in addition to correctly applying the e-brake lol

Sometimes I have to drive family members to doctors appointments, they're not able to climb up in my jeep so I have to drive their car. tbqh, I hate the lack of control with their automatic. It's not a pain in the ass whatsoever to daily drive a manual.

I love driving it, but it is annoying as fuck to drive in a traffic jam. So if you're fighting a lot of traffic to work everyday, then I'd say avoid it. Otherwise go for it >_>

I was doing some delivery work shortly after getting my licence years ago and forgot to pull up the brake.

Found my car on the other side of the parking lot where I parked, perfectly parked in one of the spaces.

Was a huge lol wtf moment
