We have. Unfortunately the knowledge didnt stop my OCD from kicking in about 6 months ago. Obsessively washing to the point where my hands were blue for a while as we had no hot water. Now that we do theyre just red but Im worried Im irreparably harming them.

It's typically pretty obvious if anything you're picking up at the store is dirty. It was definitely never a thing pre-COVID for me (or anyone I knew) to wipe down their groceries after a trip to the store. We'd just bring them inside and put them away.

My girlfriend is super paranoid though and wants to clean everything. Cleaning $300 of groceries one by one is not fun.
