Are they spitting up a lot? Some babies can have acid reflux that can make it hard to keep there milk down.
I wouldn't be too concerned, doctor will just recommend ways to increase intake. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Does he spit large amounts up after feeding? My oldest had bad acid reflux problems. Pediatrician recommended Enfamil AR. Never had bad problems again and he started to gain weight properly.

Ive read most babies lose some weight at first before gaining it back in the first few weeks. Little bellies just getting adjusted to everything. Sounds like you and mama are on top of things and doing a great job. Keep at it!
