I'm not suicidal or at risk of self-harming. I looked into this and found one post where some guy claims alt-right types report "SJWs" to reddit for being suicidal if they're "offended" by something? IDK, this is silly af lol. IDK what to make of it

Well that's shitty. I'm usually pretty opinionated online but I keep it more chill on reddit because of all the dicks (often right wing nuts) with too much time on their hands. Had a bunch of posts brought up that were in no way offensive on an old account. No idea if that's what this is but that user's point seems highly possible.
