Current Events > One year of free Steam games, or one year of free pizza?

If you pick Steam games: For one year, you can get any game on Steam for free. Games you get this way disappear from your library at the end of the year, though if they were removed from sale you get the opportunity to pay their normal price to keep them first. If you buy the games again later you get your save data / etc back. EDIT: Also, if you don't already have one, you get a gaming PC for the year (mid-range one), but you can't use it for anything other than Steam or Steam games.

If you pick pizza: You can choose one big chain pizza place, and you can get anything you want from there for yourself (you can't give it away / sell it / etc) for a year. You're still subject to their normal hours, delivery policies, etc but you can do this at any branch worldwide. Delivery fees are free too, to be clear (you just have to be in their delivery area). This expands to the non-pizza items on their menu too, so you can get garlic bread or whatever if you want.

The pizza. I dont play on steam enough to make it worthwhile and the money saved could go towards games I actually play. I'd happily order pizza once or twice a week especially for free, and would probably get lunch sometimes too. Only problem would be being unable to share with my wife.

You can still share pizza, you just have to pay for that pizza. I guess like if you intend to share half you only have to pay half price?

How many are you actually going to want to play again later, to such an extent that not being able to (even though you could still buy them later if you found the odd one you did want to keep) is a dealbreaker?

Of course though, the flipside is free pizza, so I'm not saying your stance isn't right. It is. Just your reasoning is not.

Yeah but the reason I'd want it would be to save money. I'm not saving money that way compared to just cooking. Still would go with pizza.

Chain pizza is disgusting, but it's the better of the two options. Saving money on food for a year would be kinda cool albeit, i'm sure by month 2 i'd be tired of cheese and ketchup covered cardboard.

Pizza, for sure. They have salads, so that's probably what I'd be ordering most of the time. Realistically with the amount of time I have and the games I already want to play, the Steam option would go to waste most of the time. And I'd feel a bit rushed to get through games. I know me, I wouldn't relax and take my time. I'd try to maximize my gaming to take advantage.

At least with the pizza I would save time and money on a lot of food. Since I don't have plans to purchase multiple games this year, I wouldn't actually be saving much money at all, maybe even none.

Because of sales I spend maybe $200 max a year on Steam. I could easily do that in a couple weeks of free pizza delivery.
