God no.

Fries are too heavy to eat that much plus they need to be hot.

Popcorn is fine at room temp am hour later.

Fries are gonna suck and you will have to Smash them fast and its just too much.

Fries need ketchup or mustard if you're a freak.

Popcorn will never be replaced, it's cheap, it's abundant and it's already ingrained into movie culture.
