Not buying the logic here. I've seen people with pet lions n krocodiles that were absolute sweethearts. Individuals are gonna individual and animals will always have some level of unpredictability about them.

There is no ",level of unpredictability " among dogs that can't be accounted for by love and training

Dogs are not lions

If your dog no matter the breed runs up and attacks people (or horses) while ignoring you, that's not because of "unpredictably " its because you're a shit owner who neglects and doesn't love their dog

The savvy owners accept that level of unpredictability and take account/precaution for it, rather than rest on the laurels of "he's trained".

The breed is not representative of it's reputation. I used to think that were the case, however, since being tricked into getting one (puppies, man), I can genuinely say they are affectionate, smart, loyal dogs.

Good with kids too!

Yeah I raised a litter of pit pups too and they were adorable and affectionate. Never attacked anyone or "Acted out of character"

I never had to hide or muzzle them. I just trained them and showed them love.

It takes effort to train a dog. That's why douchebags don't do it. But its not the dogs fault when nobody trained them

I mean yeah I think most people would rather a toy poodle attack them than a pitbull but that is a separate debate to have. A lot of people are suggesting the breed is inherently violent whereas the data seems to say not necessarily.

In think it is inherently more violent

You can just train them

A trained dog isn't inherently violent regardless of breed.

Untrained, I'd have a hard believing the average poodle is less aggressive than a pitbull.

I've never raised poodles but I've raised some incredibly low energy dogs that I can't imagine attacking anything unprovoked

I've been around dogs and horses a lot. I've seen different breeds of dogs do the same stuff as that one. Lots just bark, rin away, or ignore

I read a lot of comments people saying they should be raised with care and love.

But

Pitbulls are bred for blood sports so for them to be truly happy and satisfied, you probably need raise them by letting them kill a live pig every so often or something.
