The only thing I've seen and read from this that I dislike is the new HUD element for enemy health bars. It looks generic and lame and without the personality of the old one.

They didn't remake Pinnacle Station 10+ years ago for the PS3 version either. I don't think the Kingdoms of Amalur armor is in here

I can't imagine refusing to pick these up due to Pinnacle Station being missing. The fact of the matter is that the code for that DLC has been borked ever since the PS3 release - PS3 owners never got Pinnacle Station because of this code issue. It might have been cool, but it's no skin off my back since I never experienced that DLC in the first place.

But I do understand people being pissed about the multiplayer, because ME3 multiplayer is a top tier game mode. Me and my friend got lost in ME3 multiplayer like 2 years ago, and we still have multiplayer binges from time to time.

I don't understand why they haven't ported multiplayer. The only reason I can come up with is that people would be pissed at the microtransactions, which did exist in the original product. Otherwise, it's bizarre that they haven't ported over the best part of Mass Effect 3 - people are still playing the PS3 and X360 modes to this day, to the point that you can still find a game in 2021, so it's got some degree of popularity and longevity. And it's even monetized, so EA get to sate their bottom line.

Oh, I also don't really see the reason for reducing cooldowns in weapons. I get the whole "streamline" thing, but ME1 is fundamentally different in how weapons function to the other two, and this seems like a weird choice to take away that uniqueness.

I would love to have played the multiplayer mode more but I only had one friend who played Mass Effect, he sold the game after he beat it, and I don't like playing with randoms.

I think I played the Pinnacle Station dlc once so no real loss there

I've done at least one playthrough for each class. I've done full playthroughs for both full Paragon and full Renegade. I've done all the Maleshep romances and a couple of the Femshep romances. Full insanity playthroughs for both Soldier and Vanguard (the other classes were just too difficult to be fun). EDIT: I've done an insanity run with the Sentinel class.

I couldn't even begin to imagine the amount of hours I've spent in the ME universe. Read all the books too.

What I saw makes this a very likely buy for me. It seems alot of work into it and it's not just upgraded graphics. I dont care about multiplayer but I get why people are angry about that.

I could never play vanguard actually. It seemed like a fun class, but all the explosions and other sound effects played over the top of characters speaking etc, drowning out their dialogue and I hated that. Do you think they will fix that

I always play Adept. Biotic explosions are just too fun

The last ten minutes might suck, but don't think it really makes the rest of the game bad. Still some amazing things that happen in it. Heck, the ending has some of the best moments of the game in it until the literal end.

Certainly a few issues still that get overlooked due to the ending, but they still don't ultimately make the actual story you go through bad.

I never played it, since I played Mass Effect on PS3 which never got it - but apparently it's a combat arena DLC for Mass Effect 1 with all of the clunkiness and quick, cheap deaths that would come from a wave-based arena combat area in Mass Effect 1.

I only ever got out of the base game's planet bases by being careful and picking off one enemy at a time. I have no idea how I'd cope with a wave-based arena mode.

On top of the clunky ME1 controls, I'm also imagining that it'd be as fun as playing Moxxxi's Underdome DLC in Borderlands 1 by yourself. Which I did. And it fucking sucked.

The ending is bad, but not "makes the entire series worthless" bad.....unlike Game of Thrones. >_>

You also get an apartment for Shepherd for beating it. It comes with med-gel and grenade refills, as well as an equipment "lottery" where you send credits to some military guys and you get random equipment in return.

Otherwise there isn't much there besides a nice view and music >_>

I've played the trilogy so many times (and with all the DLC, including Pinnacle Station) that playing the SP again in a remaster doesn't excite me.

If they had brought back MP, it would have been a day 1 buy for me. Without it, I just don't care that much about upgraded graphics.

Honestly, it's a fine enough purchase imo. Especially if you never played the series before.

But if there's one reason not to get the remasters, it's the lack of multiplayer.

I'm actually surprised it contains all the DLC considering it's EA. I'd imagine they'd do a new collector's edition of the remasters to get the old collector's edition stuff, and maybe sell some of the weapons DLC separately.

Honestly they could improve the looks of custom Shepard's. The default ones are so detailed and well done but when you customize their appearance they look... idk doughy seems to be the bet description.
