nothing new this week except Nick All Star Brawl. i like whats there but it does feel lacking. probably because it had a very small budget and Nick wouldnt let them change the release date so it didnt get as much polish/finished as it should be. the devs do seem to actually care though so it should end up fine unless Nick kills it or something
anyway it kinda plays like a mix of Smash and Brawlhalla imo. didnt play Slap City so cant compare to it. definitely looks like theres nonsense to be found and it looks like most characters have Something. the lack of voices is actually noticeable though. actually the sound design in general is kinda not great. music is surprisingly good though even if it doesnt have stuff from the shows. stages are mostly fine and theres only a few i wouldnt want to play on (omashu and powdered toast trouble mostly). netcode does have some issues but id expect it to get fixed. getting into matches is really quick and the lobbies are good.
so yeah its a good one being held back by lack of budget and some corporate shit. definite recommend but waiting for the updates wouldnt be a bad idea either

i also played more melty. still getting bopped online i really need to look up some real combos and stop doing the autos. more FF14 as well. finished the Heavensward msq! better than ARR for sure although it still didnt really wow me (although the last fight is kinda fucking awesome). i was gonna do some Monkey Island this weekend but felt like shit again so i didnt really do anything. almost felt like i was sick but didnt have a fever or anything so iunno :/ . might start up a new thing this week unless i just stick with the ones im already playing

just played a bunch of 14 this week with a bit of melty. got the kof98 rollback beta this week so ill check that out. gonna be alternating between nasb and melty every week to try and get some of both played

weekly fite game is Slap City! i can now say NASB isnt quite the same. slap is a lot more floaty and slippery for one. handful of othere differences like having side attacks, dropping through floors with just down, and the Clutch mechanic which changes how some moves work and a bunch of other stuff i didnt look into. i mostly just played some of the story mode which is a platformer kinda thing. seemed neat but im not really invested enough to go through all of it. characters are from indie games i dont know much about. tried all of them out in training but only cared for 2 of the 9. had a lot more stages than i was expecting also but didnt go through them. definitely seems like a solid game but yeah its another offline game

only thing played this week is the weekly fite game. this time its The Last Blade 2 which i mentioned at least once before. i got it on ps4 before i decided to migrate fighters to pc so yay double dipping. i couldve waited to get it but i like it so whatever. as kinda mentioned its similar to SamSho. both because its samurai and moveways. LB is 4 buttons with weak slash/heavy slash/kick/parry with some directionals for very weak and very strong slash. you also get to choose between power and speed modes. power gives you a super and speed gives you some kinda combo chain. i think speed is the tournament choice but casuallcharacters are kinda...typical i guess? i see them and i feel like ive seen them in some other samurai stuff but theyre all p cool so its fine. again not too much to say since i havent played against other people but at least the arcade mode doesnt fuck you over. got all the achievements on ps4 so ill grab them again here. except maybe the beat arcade without continuing one as that is kinda augh. ill call it done when thats finished. and maybe i can hope for a LB3 one day

and yeah still 14d a lot. however ive got to the point where theres not much i want to do so i can take time away from it finally! at least until EW comes out but since thats been delayed i might actually be able to get a game or two beat by then!
