Mental health issues suck, especially when it's so serious that it causes health problems like that. Props to the husband for patiently trying to get her to eat something different.

I heard of one where a woman was eating her mother's mattress and when they asked why she wasn't eating her own mattress, she said "because I already did that"

I hate these shows that make a big spectacle out of mental disorders. This woman was clearly unwell and unloading 4 dumptrucks of potatoes in front of her on camera isn't going to do much to help.

Never heard of ramen girl, but if she only eats ramen there's no way it's better for her than this.
