It allows your body to better fight off the disease so you don't experience extreme symptoms, and of course, just as with almost every vaccine, there will be exceptions where either their body didn't accept it or couldn't react to it. Its still early. This is why you should still wear a mask and practice social distancing for now. Getting the vaccine is just the first step.
