I don't know if it was the first ever to creep me out but one I particularly remember is the X-Files movie. My dad was a huge fan of the show and for some reason dragged me to the theater with him to watch it when I was like 8. The show itself and the theme song already had creeped me out at home.
Anyway the plot involved these I wasn't technically a little kid but I also remember the American The Grudge remake actually creeping me out a ton when I was already in high school. Love horror these days. ... Copied to Clipboard!

My parents were watching some horror movie and I walked into a scene where a guy stares into a bathroom mirror as he rips the flesh off his face. Was that poltergeist or the exorcist?
Also Sixth Sense messed me up a bit. I think theres a scene where the kid sees some ghosts hanging from nooses in a stairwell? I was afraid of turning the corner going upstairs in my house for a good few years after that hahaha actually that one was part of a one-two combo, because I had seen some real ghost stories special on TV where a familys house had a hallway from hell where they had found their pet cat murdered and strung up on a wall.
