For the record, this is in response to a topic I saw on hellhole

a user was complaining about the uptick in transphobic topics and posts and wasnt satisfied with moderator responses to it.

The replies from the staff were absurdly tonedeaf and I wondered if it would have been different if a trans mod had addressed it...then I thought "is anyone of their staff even trans?"

and here we are.

I don't know how Gamefaqs is run, but, I don't think any moderation should rely on a single person. A single person could have a bias against certain posters, there should be a 3 mod vote on each reported message.

During the BLM protests, I brought up the idea of increasing the diversity among the staff. It was not well received. Some argued that it would be impossible to do (arguably it wouldnt if mods submitted drivers license photos.) But one mod actually said that diversity hires wouldnt be qualified to do the job. So... I wouldnt hold my breath on expecting this to become a priority for them.

I've literally been suspended multiple times for trying to address mod diversity
