If you had a nearly full cartridge for your weed pen, but the cartridge had a busted seal and wouldn't work with the pen, how would you go about consuming the oil within?

I'd crack that sucker open somehow. Viscous enough to hot-knife? If not I'd paint a joint with it.

Easy enough to crack open. The mouthpiece seal is loose and I can just bust it. My understanding of these oil cartridges though is that they require a higher heat element for the THC to activate and a basic lighter with the oil on a joint might not work. I'm no expert though so it may be worth a try. Just don't wanna waste it lol.

I have toyed with this idea, but considering that I think it's a loose seal that's causing the problem, I'm unsure if I'd be able to get the seal tight enough on the replacement cartridge? I definitely have some working but empties lying around.

Yeah, hot knifing is definitely my top option right now I think. I have pipes and a bong. I also live within walking distance of a smoke shop, so I could probably get a dab attachment for my bong and smoke the oil that way, but I'm not big on dabs and don't think I'd use the attachment all that much if I got it.

I wish they had PAX Era cartridges here in Vegas! They're the weed equivalent of a JUUL (in fact, I think one of the companies spun off from the other). In California they tended to be cheaper and longer lasting than 510 batteries + cartridges. Plus, they have a fun little app that allows you to set the temperature to the degree (666 always), save preset settings, play minigames, and a variety of other features you just don't get in a normal pen.

The only part that screws is the part that goes into the battery. The glass chamber is fused to the other pieces with some sort of sealant that appears similar to super glue, not screwed. I've never seen cartridges that aren't designed like this or similarly.



As for pods like this that work with my PAX Era, I've never seen any place in Vegas that sells them.

The mouthpiece definitely unscrews. I bought a set of blunt tipped syringes to fix this problem.

You could also mix the oil with a stick of butter and consume alternatively.

Just put it into an empty cartridge if you want. I save mine that have a little oil left and just make a Frankenstein cartridge every now and then.

im surprised the Pax Era pods are that popular. Thats the pod system our company went with and I figured itd be a bust. I bought one since they gave me a free battery but I havent tried it yet. Do they have the Luster pods where youre at? Im just wondering how they compare.

I used to work for a company that made weed vape carts and sometimes theyd have me use a heat gun to heat up broken carts and the oil would get sorta hot and pour right out.
