I doubt I'm the only person who is buying some stuff before the shutdown. So how about we post stuff we get, and maybe someone else (me) will see something they know they need to grab before it is too late. I'm looking at a lot of DLCs already, but not sure what games I need to jump on before hunting down rare and expensive physical copies is my only option.

I probably should look over the storefront, but I really haven't so far. The shutdown is just the ps3 store, right?

As I mentioned in the Geek topic, I finally (finally!!!) unboxed my ps4 to try to get that Ratchet & Clank trilogy for free (but I'm probably late on that) only to realize that two of the games bundled with my ps4 were digital downloads and their codes expired last year. So yeah, that's a thing. The only plus is one of the expirations was Horizon Zero Dawn, which apparently will be available for free anyway (although I'm still annoyed that this was DLC rather a disc), so I might only be out the GoW if that doesn't work.

Okay, so I have a little time. I'll have to look over what's on there that I might want vs what's also up Steam where it might make more sense to get it on Steam (provided it's not a huge game)

Eh, fuck. I can't remember what I used for my PSN again (I know the username, but they want the email), and the last laptop I logged into it (to get something without logging into the store) is the one that isn't working now.

The recover password option is no help, since it doesn't send to the emails I selected so it must be under another one. It's deja vu all over again.

Change your sign-in ID

You're signed out from all devices when you change your sign-In ID (email address) and will need to sign in again using your new sign-in ID.

Web browser: change sign-in ID

Sign in to Account Management on a web browser. Select Security from the sidebar. Click Edit next to Sign-In ID (Email Address). Enter your new email address and click Save. You may need to re-enter your password for security reasons. You will receive an email to your new email address asking you to verify your new sign-in ID. Click the Verify Now button in this email. You will also receive an email to your old email address detailing the change.

Oh good, I can still get R&C... and do it from my browser. That means I wasted... well, a ton of time between unboxing my ps4, changing the set-ups (it's a mess of plugs), going through the set-up procedure, and all that other stuff. (Some of which I needed to do down the road anyway.)

And from that same system I confirmed that the codes no longer work. (Which *other* services sometimes honor. Maybe I'll try to get in touch with Sony support and see what I can work out there.)

And I've got the email switch done... well, kinda. Not sure I'll stick with that email, but it's more secure than the old one and it's one I sometimes use. Well, I know how to fix it now, so I can just change that if I want to go a different route.
