Just bought this on my Xbox Series X, because I can, and was just wondering if anyone knew how long shops take to reset. Specifically, the mud crab. I remember selling it hundreds of pieces of armour from guards at Vivec without it ever resetting them. It got clogged up and caused RAM issues on the original Xbox, I think.

I know cells in Skyrim are three or thirty days in-game, depending on if theyre cleared or not. Was wondering if its similar in Morrowind. Main world would be harder to reset by just playing because youre always entering it/running around in it.

24 hours I believe. When you do a lot of selling and waiting make sure you disable auto save.

Found this;

Merchants' gold is reset after 24 in-game hours.

Fauna and guild supply chests reset their contents after 4 in-game months pass.

Some diseases, such as vampirism, require 3 in-game days to pass to cause transformation; corprus symptoms intensify every passing day.

Corpses (excluding permanent corpses, such as that of Ralen Hlaalo) will disappear after 72 in-game hours have passed.

Some creatures in the wild and in dungeons, and certain NPCs such as guards, will respawn after 72 in-game hours have passed.

Hostile NPCs and creatures will stop being hostile after 72 in-game hours have passed (though if their fight rating is high enough, they might still become hostile the next time they see you).

I love how the entire island of Vvardenfell combined lacks the gold needed to buy a Daedric claymore.

Unless you levitate and hadouken a ton of Vivec guards, then collect and sell their armour. Which is kind of the reason for the thread.

Im hoping that entering a cell has no bearing on whether it resets like in Skyrim.

It's like a minute of invisibility and levitate at a super high level not normally usable, like 200 or something. They cost around 5k if I remember correctly.

5,000/scroll to help kill guards...

Cant have 5,000 drakes without killing guards...

Welp.

Also having trouble deciding if I want to restart and go with a different character, because magicka is hard to restore in this game with Breton or Altmer plus Atronach (I picked Breton) and I kind of like the sound of the drain intelligence on self thing. I dont want to do the summon ancestral ghost thing forever.

It took almost exactly three hours of running into a corner to go from 20-30 in athletics.

And I did go back and redo my mage so that I could do the drain intelligence to restore magicka trick.

Oh so alchemy scales off of intelligence. What you do, is you make an intelligence potion, drink it, make another int potion, drink it, repeat ad nauseam until you're happy with your int, then start making other potions like speed and strength. voila, you just broke Morrowind

The same thing can be done in all of them I think. I had RAM issues with the Xbox version of Morrowind back in the day, so I never got to finish it. So Im trying to avoid abusing the numbers. Ill put everything to 100, save for speed at 200. Add permanent feather.

Skyrim had a cap to that I think. Still possible to massively break the game using alchemy though.

If you sneak behind the one orc in the Balmora mage's guild and leave it on overnight you'll max out your stealth.

Need to find a way to depress L3 for an extended period while moving. Im not doing anything to my miscellaneous skills other than possibly enchant. Im going to max speed, willpower and intelligence naturally. The rest are getting soultrapped. I will also probably soultrap health, magicka and fatigue when Im done.

If you double click L3 it should put you into perma sneak until you press it again.
