He's now poking at a bunch of conservative sacred cows because they object to his popularity and influence as a proud, outspoken and flamboyant gay man.
If dipshit moral purists want to go after him and claim that he's an icon of sin and a defiler of souls, then it's worth mentioning A) he probably wouldn't be this provocative if people didn't try to drag him down and shame him by pulling him out of the closet against his will, B) it's their own fault for stooping to that level and trying to "cancel" someone by making them feel unsafe in their own skin and in the public eye, and C) the way that Lil Nas X conducts himself and enjoys his influence and fame is solely their problem now, not his. --- Now Playing: Ni No Kuni, Hyrule Warriors, Stardew Valley ... Tbh Im glad POCs are coming out and establishing differences within the community - lots of people are not prepared beyond conservatives and I think its always great to shake the box up As a religious person Im like well shoot I guess thats how you see it - as long as it doesnt come from a place of hate Hes angry and he has every right to be angry music allows him to express more of that which I always think is cool anyways. It sucks he felt he had to hide it, but he was probably feeling scared of what he thought his own community would see him as as well so I feel for him. Yeah Lil Nas X makes quality music and is a brilliant mind. I agree with both RedJackson and MrMallard as usual. I wouldn't even be surprised if Lil Nas X is actually a follower of Jesus just going through this stage in life as a response to the hypocrites who "threw the first stone" just because he's black & gay.
