My drinking went up during quarantine and I was already drinking too much before quarantine started. I probably got drunk every single day of the summer. Six months and a day ago I had a really stressful day and after I got home I drank an entire 750 of whiskey. Had a horrible hangover that lasted all day and that night had a horrible chest pain. I didn't know if years of drinking caught up with me or I just overdid it the next before, but I had never had that happen to me before. I didn't know if I fucked up my heart or if it was even possible for one night of drinking to do that. Basically stopped out of sheer panic.
It turned out to be really bad acid reflux and that was my first flare up. Still feels good to have stuck with it though. --- You don't have to put my thighs in the microwave. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I went from 0-20 drinking only two or three times, and then 21-36 drinking maybe two or three times a year. And then the Pandemic hit, and I started to drink about a half-gallon of booze a day for about a year. I didn't know it was an issue because I never woke up with a hanger over and sick. Just woke up like normal. But then one day I woke up and my room was destroyed and didn't know how it got that way, I don't remember having an angry, drunk outburst. This was around the time I was waking up and taking a few shots in the morning. After that day I dumped all the boozed I had outside and haven't drank since. This was back in January of this year, and I should look up the date since I have the text to my parents about how scared I was after the blackout rampage --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've noticed I am drinking more now that I'm home every night, but if I keep busy I have zero desire for alcohol. It's only when I'm chillin at home and the end of the night starts to come.
I can't wait for my second vaccine and I can feel a bit more comfortable going out more with friends and hanging out with family.
