They were the most inconsistent fries around. They ranged from being tiny and all skin to giant with way too much potatoe for the seasoning to really shine. Agree that people only started hating KFC after they pulled crap like watering down their gravy to save money and their regular 11 herbs and spices didn't really taste that potent anymore. It's the cheap cost cutting that betrayed their customers. The Popeye's here is too far away from the house, and they had a major roach problem a few years back so I get a little squeamish about that place. We had a Church's open up, but it was overpriced garbage. 3 out of 4 people in the house either got sick or had an allergic reaction. Needless to say I never went back, and not many of the initial rush did either. It's a ghost town now after just a year of being open.
