Stone Age, Carcassonne, The Hanging Gardens are all on my list of played and approved for 2. Five Tribes, Scythe, Splendor i've played and enjoyed at 2, but not a lot, so maybe i just never got to the "this is stale" point. BSG, 7 Wonders and Citadels are not good/possible at 2. Dominion and Clank work at two, but deckbuilders can end up as two player solitare pretty often. Concordia has different boards for different players. i'm 99% there are 2P boards, but i've never played it at less than max. (which reminds me of another game i forgot with a similar player adjustment: Small World.) the rest are others i've never played at 2, so i can only suggest you ask around before buying. --- Boom!
