Is it because I'm still using a 1080p monitor? Will I be WOWED once I get a 4k monitor? Is PC gaming overrated? Is console gaming holding back pcs?????

If you're still using a 1080p monitor then yeah, that could be why. I game on a 4k TV and games look amazing on it.

Pc gaming graphically is overrated. Though you can do so much with them, that's the best part of pc gaming imo

People who spend 2500+ dollars on a top of the line PC just do it to flex tbh

i cant see the point of getting a 4k monitor. 1440p with high refresh rate is perfect for a monitor you're sitting a few feet from.

Did you install the drivers, TC?

After i built my first PC, I booted up Skyrim and thought "Hmmm, this isn't much better than my Xbox 360." Then I installed the driver for my GPU and I was fucking floored.

I was used to X360 graphics, though. If you've been playing a PS4 or later gen, the leap might not be as impressive as it was for me.

Btw, you are going to settings and putting the video quality as high as you can, right?

Not true at all. 4k is acceptably playable without AA. 1440p is not acceptable without AA.

Playing without AA is the pinnacle goal, as games look incredible. Unfortunately 4k is the only resolution we can really play without AA, with 8k being the true end all be all. Even 4k still needs a little AA, but Im willing to accept the flaws for the incredible sharpness.

Majority of gamers dont even understand this concept, theyre in la-la land because theyve been playing 1080p 1440p games with AA for the last 15 years. Theyve forgotten just how blurry the picture is with AA enabled, its a cancer to visual fidelity.
