They should have put more sidequests in if they were gonna do something like this, lol. This game has you go on a training montage for a whole chapter when the only fights left are scripted battles so I felt that was entirely pointless outside wrapping sidequests up and bonding with the party members before the end. Can't wait to check out the videos and read all the spoiler tag stuff in this topic. It freaking becomes a full blown ~~isekai~~ at the end which is like I mean it's foreshadowed well I guess but man. I guess I'll say I don't regret taking the time to play this game, it's so weirdly fucked up and poorly put together that it makes itself a memorable experience as a result, like this is one huge passion project made by someone seemingly sheltered and you get to trudge through their mind. I never really paid any mind to it before but judging from the reactions I guess the devs are pretentious? Especially big reality ending entity is a fucking comet with the main character's face screaming and when you fight it it's a freaking like dancing stick figure with the comet as its head like I know the world was breaking and shit was weird but that was just too much. I sat there and just laughed for a good two minutes it was so out of no where. Like all the characters are screaming THIS IS IT HOLY SHIT and then you get into battle and it's THAT. Wish I took a freaking screenshot. I've been watching some videos and wow they actually really touched this game up post launch. For example the lemonade shouting llama turned into a buster sword wielding one voiced by D.C. Douglas and I'm a sucker for him. That whole scene is captured differently, though the dialogue up until the alternative boss shows up.
