Supposedly chips that aren't on small process manufacturing cycles aren't having the same shortage issues. Hence why, ironically, Intel has plenty of supply while AMD is basically paralyzed.

It's definitely going to hit it hard if this winds up being real/released this year. I wouldn't expect to even be able to buy it until sometime next year after the scalpers with their bot armies get all the available initial units.

It's pretty obvious at this point. The Switch is having a difficult time even running some indie games, most AAA releases look and run like garbage on it, Nintendo's first-party output has been nonexistent, and Animal Crossing's social media pages have been uploading native 4K screenshots of the game.
