Medicare Tax:
Emoloyee: 1.45%
Emoloyer: 1.45 %

Monthly insurance (Family of 5)
Employee:125
Emoloyer : 1,250

This is a high deductible plan where the insurance won't kick in until we pay 3,500 and even then the insurance will only pay 85 percent after

Wouldn't Medicare for All save us all money if we just paid a flat rate of 10 percent or something ? And employers would be able to offer more money to employees?

Insurance just seems dumb as fuck. With all the administrative money that is spent and the write odds they do, why not just pay it all in M4A

a sizable portion of the work force is self employed and consequently has no insurance at all

to these people, this would represent a massive tax increase

health is more important but we are talking about many households that just wont be able to tank 10% or more in new taxation, since they werent under a company that pays the lions share of the costs in the first place

could do it by taxing wealth at the top more but we all know these things always turn into Democrats just wanting to stunt the middle class rather than the top class

Some companies, maybe, but other companies would likely pocket the money or just use it for executive level bonuses.
