To be fair, it was a nice little flick that condensed all the good 24 parts into 90 minutes. I just wasn't THAT high on it because there wasn't much of a resolution to anything -- it's just a segue into the actual season. I'm not entirely sure why, I think it may be because the main plot of S8 felt more... subdued in scope up to that point, and the the Jack Rampage felt really wild, and it just seemed a bit discordant to me.
