Do you expect to receive a 4th round of stimulus checks?





Within the current economic cycle, not part of a future, non covid-related downturn.

I think its somewhat likely, for 3 reasons:

  1. Historically, its easy to introduce new welfare & spending programs, but very hard to take them away. After 3 rounds of checks, beneficiaries are now expecting them & think its the governments obligation to hand them money. If these checks ended, many Americans would be upset & in worse cases struggle to pay their bills because theyve come to expect recurring handouts.
  2. The business community (and DNC donor base) loves them because theyre kind of a backdoor bailout, without the stigma of directly bailing out big banks & megacorporations. JP Morgan stock is at a record high because consumers paying down debt with their stimulus checks means the bank is losing far less money from charge offs than initially feared.
  3. Promising $2,000 checks was a genius strategy that won democrats full control of government (even if by a hair) for the first time in a decade. Theyre bound to try the same thing again for next years all-important midterms. Imagine the advantage Democrats will have if they promise, Vote for us again & get $2,000 more in your bank account! Voters tend to vote with their wallets.

Yeah. He also shitposted a lot on the maga board before it got nuked and regularly makes hours-long videos criticizing gamefaqs mods. Every post/topic he makes should scrutinized to the maximum degree.
