I'm roughly 30 and I think these days, if I was single, I'd want to live by myself. That's not saying I wouldn't want to interact with people at all, but I wouldn't want to live with others.

I think it depends on what city you live in

like a big busy cool city where you can just go out and experience something new everytime and new people would make it easier to live by yourself

Sometimes I wonder if I feel lonely. Then I interect with the nearest humans and I'm quickly reminded of why I like being alone.

No? I'm 35, live alone in a fully paid off house, and for the most part its great. The only downside happens when you have to do all the repairs yourself. I got a patch of peeled off laminate flooring that's going to cost me at least a grand to replace as I have to replace the floor itself. Trying not to worry about that right now, and just use a rug underneath it, since its only cosmetic.

Other than that, its great. I don't have a girlfriend, but I do have a chick that gives me some company whenever she's in town, which is usually every couple months.
