They won't. Snyder hates secret identities so even if he got his final 2 JL movies his plan was most likely to keep Kent dead. Just like how he unceremoniously put a bullet through Jimmy Olson's head.

Clark Kent just happened to be stuck under a collapsed building for a month. Luckily Superman pulled him out live on TV.

Clark Kent was reported as missing shortly after Doomsday's rampage. Towards the end of The Return of Superman, some children were found in a basement underneath some rubble, having survived off provisions stored there for a few weeks. Superman had the idea to pull the same act with Kent.

After the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths essentially rebooted the DC Universe, the editors of DC wanted to minimize the number of Kryptonians that had survived the planet's destruction because it seemed as though too many had survived for Superman to be "the last son of Krypton." So to have the Supergirl character, a shape shifting female alien called Matrix was introduced, who would try to model her appearance and persona after Superman and thus becoming Supergirl. She took the form of Clark Kent and Superman publicly pulled her out of rubble, with Lois reuniting with "him" publicly.

Depends when.

There was that time they revealed Clark Kent was actually a mild mannered reporter who had found some information that got him in trouble and to help him out Superman was impersonating him the whole time.

I'm still mad about that.

The source material isn't always better than the movies.
