I got a talkbox, but I've never been much of a solo guy so I'm not good with any lead work. Anyone have some good resources for scales for someone who isn't a beginner but also isn't an intermediate? I can read sheet music and I'm pretty good with my knowledge of chords in what key, but I'm finding that doesn't totally transfer over. Some exercises would be good, my technique is garbo

Not all scales are the same, but I would say...in the key of C for instance. With your right hand with the thumb being 1, and the other figures numbers up accordingly you should begin..
...On C, with your thumb, the 2, 3, and then back to 1, and then 2, 3, 4, 5...that way your fingers are already placed above the keys. Also, I would suggest always paying attention to contrary motion, if the treble is going, let the bass go down when applicable. Contrary Motion is huge!
