that comic is freaking underrated even though the character has actually been featured more and more in mainstream media (which is a good thing).

The Noir Spider-man shows up as one of the main characters in Spiderverse, was a costume for Spider-man PS4 game and the Night Monkey costume in Far from Home is actually inspired by the Noir Spider-man.

For those that don't know, this is basically a Spider-man set in the Depression era 1930s. One of the coolest things about this Noir universe is the villians don't actually have superpowers. So Spider-man here actually uses a gun and is featured more like an anti-hero

That'd be cool and if their most recent animated attempts are any indication, I have full confidence in what they'll make next.

Oh yes he's cool AF

In the first chapter he already kills a villian with a pistol. I like how much more logical and realistic the whole series is made to flow. He starts off as an anti-hero before becoming slightly good

I doubt so...given this character is hardly known at all. Plus they'd rather pour the budget toward a mainstream Spiderman sequel

Ive never understood why they rebooted Peter Parkers story so many times on the big screen, or why they went with a Miles Morales movie, without every trying to see if a Spider-man 2099 movie would work.

A combination of the superhero genre with a cyber aesthetic??? That seems like it could be huge.
