Ok so, things I love:

• the physics
• the new overworld engine
• cool stuff happens in cutscenes

Things i hate:

• where did the music go
• i can no longer use the map button for some reason
• lack of fighting styles
• floaty controls

What I feared seems to have come to fruition. 0 and Kiwami were so near perfect, that the series had nowhere to go but down. I don't think I will enjoy this one half as much (discounting cool scenes)

Also sometimes Kiryu looks like a stupid video game character instead of a badass unrealistic real dude

K1 is pretty easily a bottom tier game of the franchise alongside Y3, and K2 is top tier alongside Y0.

Also if you don't like the controls you really wouldn't like Y6 which was their first go on the new engine.

K2 has my favorite fight theme in the series too! Outlaw Lullaby is so fucking good.

I like 3/5/6 more than most people, especially 3. A lot of people hate the early game pacing of 3 (Okinawa) but I grew up there so it hits a weirdly specific nostalgia for me and I kind of love it. Too bad the combat is everyone blocks everything, the game.

imma bow outta here if yall gonna talk about the other games. i dont trust others not to start mentioning spoil-tag-worthy shit lol

The beginning of 3 is definitely understandable since its really developing/bonding with the orphan kids.

The AI in 3 though oh boy your not wrong. Tiger drop basically works wonders lmao. Altho k1 tiger drop broken

The music when you fight in Sotenbori is amazing and one of my favorite tracks from the series. Someone said it, Outlaw Lullaby. Great track.

Also the new engine alone puts it at the top of the series for me personally. Kiwami 2 is my fave.
