Intriguing. I know it gets joked on a lot but that year I had it was great. Saw about 100 movies for $120 in a year. Even when they limited it to 3 movies a month during the Summer it was still a decent deal. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Great in concept, abysmal in execution. I wouldn't ever trust them with my money at this point, and have zero confidence that they will become any kind of success..

I got into it when they first opened, and for about a year I saved so much. Even if the app was a bit glitchy, it worked well.

MoviePass was definitely clutch before all the rules. I kept saying to myself there is no way they aren't going to lose money on it. I guess they were banking on people treating it like a gym membership where they pay for it but don't use it.

I'll stick with the Cinemark pass whenever it comes back. I signed up for it right before the pandemic and got some sweet deals. Then they paused it before my first payment because of Covid. no fuss, they emailed me and didn't try to fuck me. I like dat.
